We're having a baby!

Stan and I are excited to announce that we are expecting our first baby! Lord willing, Baby Hendricks will arrive sometime around April 1, 2007. We've made it through the first trimester now and have heard our baby's heartbeat (what a great moment!) I've been feeling really good so far - no sickness - and just a little arthritis pain...which should hopefully go away soon. We hope to find out in November if we are having a boy or a girl. This is a really exciting time for us - and we wanted you to be able to share in our wonderful news. Our hope is to use this website to give our out-of-town friends and family updates on how we are doing (and growing!) and then it will eventually be taken over by photos of Baby Hendricks next April :)

First Annual Oak Park Ice Cream Crawl...

On Saturday, many of us accomplished a feat we did not think possible (or wise) - but we took about 4 hours and strolled to 5 different ice cream shoppes... tasting along the way. Here's some photos from our little Chicago Family Reunion - matching t-shirts and all - Thanks, Fishels!

Family Traditions Live On...

Time to brag on my niece and nephew a little bit. Both made their travel soccer teams this Fall - and Cassidy just made the 5th grade choir as a 4th grader (same choir I was in about 19 years ago!). Glad to see they are carrying on the Evanson tradition :)
