93rd Percentile...

Sean had his 2 month appointment (+ 1 week) last Thursday and surprised us again by how much he is growing! He is 23" long and weighed in at 14 lbs, 7 oz... which means he gained 5 lbs in 5 weeks - yikes! No wonder everyone keeps telling me my boy looks so healthy :) But I am so grateful that our boy is so healthy and thank God for his very kissable cheeks and the cute rolls all over his arms & legs. He is smiling all of the time now - especially on the changing table... Stan thinks it is because he knows we are about to be blown away by whatever he has left for us in his diaper...

I went back to work part-time a couple weeks ago and have really enjoyed seeing my co-workers and diving back into some projects. I have 2 sisters taking turns watching him who have more experience with children than I do - so Sean is in very capable hands. My plan right now is to continue working part-time through the end of the summer.

Stan is enjoying a little reprieve between semesters and is tackling some projects around the house. It was a long & challenging semester (especially with our little mid-semester life changing event...) - we're still waiting for all of his grades to come in - but he at least has one A! I am really proud of him and all that he continues to accomplish. He's not only a good worker and student - but a great dad too.

I turn 30 tomorrow - and Stan threw me a fun party this past weekend with all my favorite food and great friends. It is a fun milestone to celebrate - we even put Sean back in his wedding tux for the party... :) This weekend we will also celebrate 6 years of marriage - hard to believe - time continues to fly by. God has been so gracious to us - and we thank Him for His goodness.

Happy Mother's Day

My little snugglebug gave me the best mother's day present ever - 8 hours of sleep.

Mr. & Mrs. Ryan Collins

Last weekend Stan's sister got married - we had a wonderful time with family. Stan's parents threw a wonderful party and Beth & Ryan enjoyed every minute of it. We took a lot of pictures, but it appears we've been taking a multitude of pictures these days and need to free up some space on our computer before we can download more - so enjoy a few shots from the wedding and our dapper little boy, and hopefully once Stan is done with finals - we can get some more computer storage so I can keep snapping away!

The happy couple

My mom made Sean a tux for the big occasion - he almost stole the show away from the bride!

" Mom, how many pictures are you going to take of me??"

I'm just going to kick back & take a little break from the action... I think I just met 200 smiling people...

"I like my Great-Grandma - I even forgot I was hungry and just smiled and cooed and laughed when we met :)

Precious.

Mom & Dad thought I should get a jump start on reading - I even flipped through the pages on my own - Mom looked at me as though she had a genius on her hands...

Indiana Circuit

Sean and I took a long road trip from Chicago to Zionsville to Carmel to Lawrence to Floyds Knobs to Pendleton to Purdue to Crown Point and finally back home to Oak Park. We left Stan at home to study for finals, but needless to say - he missed us terribly and was very anxious for us to return home (although I bet he got some pretty good sleep while we were gone!) I've included some pictures of our journey - Sean learned his social smile just in time to meet all of his parents' friends & family - it was a fun trip and he was a trooper!
Starting off the trip with a smile :)

After Sean's best diaper blowout to date - He was very content laughing and cooing with Jen
