I took this picture of Sean today before his 1 month check-up. As you can tell we like to photograph him in his hooded towel after bathtime - but when I looked at him today, I could definitely tell how much he has changed and how he is starting to 'chunk out'.

Since birth Sean has grown 2" (he is now 22") and is 9lbs, 7oz! (He was 6lbs, 13oz at birth). I just bought a big box of newborn diapers - and I think that will be the last one I buy - it's now time to upgrade to the next size. I am glad to know that he is weighing more - I wasn't sure if I was just becoming more fatigued & my arthritis was flaring up... now I at least know it is a combination of fatigue, arthritis & a growing baby!

Speaking of fatigue, our boy has given us quite a treat by sleeping 4 and 6 hours the last 2 nights. I'm not getting my hopes up that this is the beginning of sleeping through the night - but it was sure nice to sleep 5 hours... in a row... :)

Easter Sunday

Easter was a day of many firsts for us - Sean's first trip to church - as well as his first trip to Indiana to Grandma & Grandpa Hendricks' home. Many thanks to Tom & Suzette for his cute Easter outfit!

Many Visitors!

Sean had a very social week. We had a visit from Leah & Bridget Flanagan on Friday, Stan's parents on Saturday, Brook & Jeremy & the girls came for a visit on Sunday, we slept a lot on Monday, then on Tuesday we went to see Dad at work and on Wednesday we went to see my co-workers at Wheaton... I may have pushed the little guy too far because he was pretty cranky on Thursday - but he perked up for a visit from his 2 cousins (Christopher & Cassidy) and my parents.

My mom was gracious enough to spend a little over a week with us after Sean was born - we were all very grateful to have her around!
